The Course:
Welcome to Glen Oak Golf Course, the finest golf course in Western New York. Rated 4 1/2 stars by Golf Digest Magazine, Glen Oak is open to the public. With 4 sets of tees ranging from under 5,600 yards to over 6,900 yards, Glen Oak will provide an enjoyable test of golf for all golfers, from beginner to a scratch handicap player.
Glen Oak was designed by famed architect Robert Trent Jones, with assistance from his now famous architect son, Rees Jones. Glen Oak has previously been designated by Golf Digest as one of the top 75 public golf courses in the United States.
In addition to the championship 18 hole course, Glen Oak also has a large practice facility, with an expansive natural grass driving range and a large putting green with areas for both chipping and putting.
Opened in 1969, the course features lush bentgrass tees, fairways and greens. Each hole at Glen Oak is distinct. Most are well bunkered, and water can come into play on 14 holes.
Oak Room:
After a round of golf, visit our 19th hole, the Oak Room, for a full menu of food and beverage in a casual, comfortable atmosphere. The Oak Room is open Monday through Saturday, 10:00 am until 10:30 pm, and Sundays from 12:00 noon until 8:00 pm.
Directions:
Take Exit 50 from the New York State Thruway onto I-290 West (the Youngmann Memorial Highway).
Take Exit 4 off I-290 onto I-990.
Go to the end of I-990 and turn left at traffic light onto Millersport Highway.
At the next traffic light, turn right onto Smith Road.
Glen Oak is approximately ½ mile on the right.
